For the longest time I would get razzed by way of all my friends for playing technique, way, way too many hours of Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar as i could be actually getting good within real guitar. But whenever I practiced by having a real guitar, I was missing all those pretty colors and amazing features that make the rock band/guitar hero franchises so hugely popular. That’s why I nearly had to improve my pants when I heard they were coming out with a guitar pro controller: the finest of both worlds. I opted to go with this cheaper Mustang controller rather than dishing out a lot more for the authentic Squier controller, which I believe is a good decision. The steepest part within the learning curve is probably learning to successfully read and play the scrolling tablature without looking down in your fingering too much. But if I play a song I know or practice only a few extra minutes, the play is particularly realistic. I am supremely happy with your purchase (although I was pretty miffed while i realized the guitar pro upgrades designed for downloaded songs are extra, but which is nature of the beast, I suppose), and I look forward to many happy hours of playing. The strings aren’t quite as tight as the real guitar, but not hard to get accustomed to at all. Having all the fret buttons a similar width also makes it difficult to be familiar with which string you’re playing on at all times, but I even look at this slight disadvantage like a learning experience, i. e. if you are able to master songs with this controller, playing the song at a real guitar will be that much easier. In the future, I may even tend to chip in for the Squier controller, but until then I will be shredding away on my Mustang.
This Rock Band 3 Guitar Controller is extremely much fun! I purchased it for my hubby for his birthday. He owns a proper guitar but has always had more fun playing Rockband. His real guitar is slow to understand on but now with this pro guitar they are loving learning! I recommend this guitar for anyone who would like to learn to play and loves Gaming system! a BIG THUMBS UP!!! This guitar might revolutionize music reading as we know it!
