World of Warcraft Mastery by Dan West actually comprises multiple guides, including a decent leveling guide. The main guide consists of a 130 page manual that provides advice, data, maps, and relevant links to sites such as Thottbot, which will all help you take a brand new character from level 1 to level 70. By following the instructions provided, you can expect to take a Horde or Alliance character from creation to level 70 in about 4 weeks.

Beginners can use the guides to skip past the usual learning curve and jump into WoW quickly and confidently. If your singular goal is to take a character to level 70 as fast as humanly possible, buy either of the two power leveling guides instead–which one depends on whether you prefer to play a Horde (Joana) or Alliance (Brian Kopp) character. Otherwise, if you’re a beginner who wants to level quickly and also learn about various general aspects of gameplay, this guide will prove to be very helpful.
LEGAL NOTE: The term “power leveling” has different meanings to different parties. If used to mean “speed leveling,” or leveling as fast as humanly possibly while staying within all WoW policies, it is tolerated by Blizzard. However, if used to mean paying a third party to take control of an account with the sole purpose of leveling a character, it is technically against the WoW End User Agreement.
If Blizzard should catch an account holder in the act of hiring another person or company for the sole expressed intention of leveling a character, they are legally entitled under the WoW End User Agreement to terminate that account (and blacklist the relevant credit card) without any warning whatsover. Under the EUA, the account holder is never to willingly allow any other person to gain access to his or her account.
