First things first: Batching similar tasks will save you a lot of time. In the corporate world people batch their phone calls or emails. I will now show you how batching will help you to save valuable time when playing your Rogue.
Go to the auction house and get all the green items that you will wear later. After one slightly longer visit of the AH you will have all the items you will ever need. I recommend you to sort the items by levels and always take the gear for the next levels with you. This way you don’t even need to travel around to get the gear once you level up.
My next secret is counter-intuitive but it works very well. Maybe you have already heard that some people are planning “for the sake of planning”. You can only save so much time when playing with the “perfect build” - but how much time do you spend planning the build itself.
Trust me on this one - choose a build that is good enough instead of wasting a lot of time on finding the perfect one. This way you spend less time after all. It will do, trust me.
I was amazed when I realized how much the concepts of the corporate world could help me. We just have to be open to new ideas and don’t ignore them because the have “business” in their title.
