Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

During the many hours spent within the realms of World of Warcraft I have learnt that a lot of Guides fall down in certain areas. Nevertheless a Guide that makes the grade where the others come up short, it is Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide. There’s good logic why it is called “Ultimate”!

This Guide is different to almost all others out there on the World of Warcraft market. The main reason for the Guide is to provide you with a WoW “bible” encompassing all you need to learn to be successful. This is unlike the majority of Guides out there that only deal in specific areas. Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide specializes in every areas.

I’m not suggesting that concentrating on one specific topic like leveling, is a bad thing. All things being equal, it isn’t. There are some great leveling and gold guides for example. However when you can take all that and more and turn it into an all encompassing guide, that is directed at both the Alliance and Horde factions, then as far as I’m concerned, you have a world beater.

When you realize just how how much time Dave Farrell, that’s the really the guy’s name, not Dugi, has been playing and analyzing World of Warcraft you start to appreciate just how knowledgeable he must be. After you’ve played the game for 7700 hours you’re going to know it back to front and inside out. I wonder if he’s single?

You’ll have noticed I have been calling this the Ultimate WoW Guide, it should really be Guides, as in plural. There are numerous guides that consist of the whole guide package. Each individual guide relates to a particular area of the game. In addition the knowledge and detail Farrell goes into means that it doesn’t matter whether you are only just arriving in WoW or whether you have been around for a while, there is so much you can learn from Ultimate WoW Guide.

So, a question that seems pertinent, are you going to buy numerous different guides (even though they will be very good on their individual area) or buy an all encompassing guide that delivers everything you need all in one neat product?

I understand that throughout the almost 7700 hours playing the game that resulted to his guides, Dave Farrell sometimes found the experience a little disheartening. Why? Because Dave knew the reason you play the game is to have fun and enjoy yourself. I mean that’s why you do the majority of things in life, isn’t it? However Dave Farrell realized that a lot of his friends who were playing WoW were really finding it difficult, not enjoying the experience and were giving up. They were finding it a frustrating experience. Dave therefore decided this had to stop and the Ultimate WoW Guide was written and its been providing superb advice every since.

Let’s take a more detailed look at the Guides. They are split into 3 main sections, PvP, gold and leveling.

There is a specific rationale behind this and why the first one of these guides you will study is leveling. This is where you stop, before you start, all the things that Dave realized all those he was playing with were doing and were the motive they didn’t enjoy playing WoW. You do not need to go through that pain.

All classes get their very own talent specifications which helpfully stops all the assumptions in how to level up your character class.

Here are a few other great features of Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide. There is no more requirement to go through the annoying routine of having to toggle between the guide and the game. This is an add-on that runs smoothly from within the game itself. Also installation, even without the video you get, is so simple. And this next one was very important, to me anyway. The Guide is fully Apple compatible. Being a Mac man that was obviously essential.

Dave Farrell obviously knew what he was talking about when he named his guide because it lives up to the title of Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide.
