World of Warcraftis a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing game or MMORPG. It’s the most popular, most renowned, most played MMO available. I suppose you could be just hearing about Wow for the first time. Not likely, but possible, and if you are you’ll want to know everything you can find out about it! You’d think with 85 available levels to obtain, that would be the most fun engaging part of the game. Really though, it’s been out so long that the end game (when you reach 85) is when the real game starts, where all the real fun hides.
So what’s the quickest way to get up to 85 you ask? This isn’t an easy question to answer, as there are quite a few right answers. Some folks are more interested in learning about the different characters and the history of Azeroth. Some people just want to blow through the levels to 85 as quick as they can so they can play with their friends in the end game. Also there are the people who want to do both. When the latest expansion (Cataclysm) came out, the entire leveling process was changed; Blizzard updated the quest interface, and changed all of the 1-60 zones. Before Deathwing’s emergence the zones didn’t really flow together very well while leveling, and it was a pain to figure out where to go next. You had to move around a lot to get to places you level, sometimes running through some dangerous zones to get there. Travel time now is a thing of the past, zones are more logically arranged and flow nicely one to another.
Night Elves are a really good example. It used to be that the fastest way to level one would be to finish your starting area near Darnassus on Kalimdor, then travel to Eastern Kingdoms and follow the same route the rest of the alliance characters use. There was an insane amount of traveling included in there. Now you can have your Night Elves, Worgen, and Dreanei do all of their leveling on Kalimdor, without needing to go to Eastern Kingdoms at all. Every race in the game now has a specific path they can take from 1-60 that takes out every last bit of travel time, and makes sure you stay killing and leveling rather than runnign or flying around. Another way will give a little more travel time to start, but will still keep you leveling quickly. A wow leveling guide will tell you the fastest way to level up in the most efficient manner possible. The makers of these guides have done lots of research, and because of the nature of competition, they’ve had to all make lots of changes in order to make all these guides great for leveling you up quickly. You get fast easy leveling because they have to compete. The fact remains though, which one makes it the most fun? Don’t skimp on this choice, the more fun you’re having the faster you’ll level; make your choice with that in mind and enjoy flyin to 85.
