WoW Cooking Guide

Let us briefly have a squiz at what cooking in WoW consists of before we level up.

Cooking is regarded as a secondary skill and any race or class can benefit from it as everyone needs a health boost. As you know melee classes with no health restoration capabilities will always need to purchase food to regain their health points.

If a healers mana is running low they will require food to re-gain health to save their mana. When you are in between grinding you can always cook to re-gain health before starting grinding again. Meat , eggs and fish can be cooked to restore health and this is very handy when going on raids.

If you want to level your cooking faster and easier then include fishing as well. It is a great deal better to level up your cooking and fishing at the same time.

How to start cooking? You need to be trained by a trainer, you will require the capability to create fire also, require materials to make a fire such as , wood, flint and tinder and maybe some spices that are required in certain recipes. This can all be bought from merchants or the auction house. Gold can always be made from selling a cooked recipe to another player. Begin cooking your butt off to make your gold. If you want an easier way of making gold, go and have a look at my gold tips page.

When Blizzard released the Burning Crusade expansion, cooking’s popularity shot up as there where new opportunities made available.

If you need a new recipe or 2.

Ask some in-game pals to be on the lookout for a certain recipe. You can buy recipes from a merchant or receive recipes from monster drops, chests or once you have completed a certain quest. Do not forget to have a look at the auction house for recipes you or other players may would like.

A fast reminder.

If you do not have fishing these recipes might be of importance to you if you want to level cooking to lvl 300. They are Charred Bear Kebabs and Juicy Bear Burgers. Both these recipes can be bought. For the Alliance in Felwood, find Malygen and for the Horde , find Bale in Felwood as well.

Before I continue a quick reminder on the recipes I just mentioned. Your cooking skill must be level 250 and the meat for the recipes will come from level 48-56 bears.

To acquire some gold you can always take part in the daily cooking quests from the Rokk at the lake north of Shattrath City.

After reading this I am sure you would like to know now how to level your cooking to 450?
